Well, 2020 is nearly gone and no words can adequately describe what the world has and is still going through. Rugby is insignificant on that stage, but we can help. Throughout Coronavirus The Board have maintained a safe environment for activity, when allowed, and our Coaches and Managers have been inventive as we have worked our way through the RFU Return to Rugby Roadmap. Players too have been patient, turned up in great numbers and been respectful of all safety measures. Families have contributed much to the fabric of the Club in the summer months. We have had fun days between lockdowns that have brought all in the Club closer reinforcing our much deserved ‘Family Club’ ethos.
Encouraging developments on playing a hybrid version of the game in the new year raise hopes of normality being just over the horizon but there are undoubtedly a few twists and turns to come. Paviors through its loyal members will meet those head on and prevail as we have always done in our near 100 years of being.
The Board would like to thank you for all you have done, particularly since we shut down at the end of last season and wish you all a safe and Merry Christmas and that we can all get back to life and rugby early in 2021.
